Condition
Oil on canvas, lined. Frame abrasions at the extreme edges. Picture surface is clean and bright with an almost imperceptible fine web of craquelure. Two very fine bumps to the canvas with accompanying loss in the upper left quadrant above the line of mounted troops. There is a thin, interrupted line of loss extending from upper left of Napoleon's hat up to the face of the brown horse in the uppe rleft quadrant. Under UV light, inpainting along the extreme edges.
