Oil on canvas, lined. The picture surface is covered by a yellowed varnish. There are minor frame abrasions and losses along the edges. There is a web of fine horizontal craquelure across the picture; in the upper half of the work some of this craquelure is beginning to lift. There is a spot of discoloration above the tree at left. Under UV light, there are some small spots of old inpainting that fluoresce very mildly in the architecture and sky.
