Condition

Both oil on canvas, lined. Each canvas is somewhat flattened, with surface dirt and frame abrasions. Under UV light, there are dashes and dots of inpainting to address previous craquelure. In Grey Dapple, the majority of this inpainting is in the upper right quadrant, though older inpaints are visible in the barn and tree at left; in the Dark Bay these inpaints appear mostly throughout the sky.
