Condition

Oil on canvas, lined. The edge of the original canvas is visible along the upper edge near the frame. The picture surface is in generally good condition. Under UV light, there are some dots and dashes of inpainting in the background. The sitter's hair has been strengthened and there are thin lines of inpainting to address craquelure in the figures face, chin and neck.
