Condition

Oil on canvas, lined. Stable web of pigment separation and craquelure over the picture surface. Surface dirt. The varnish has turned somewhat milky in an arc shaped format across the picture. Under UV light, scattered areas of inpainting to address craquelure especially in Casius Marius' head. Additional small scattered areas of inpaiting, especially in the corners and along the edges.
