Oil on canvas, lined. In generally good condition aside from very fine craquelure and a flattened surface. Under UV light, some old retouches are visible in the sitter's right cheek and in the background to the upper left of the sitter's head. Also a few lightly fluorescing dots in the background and at the edges.
