Condition
Oil on canvas, unlined. The canvas is slack on the stretcher. Stretcher bar marks faintly visible. Small areas of frame abrasion visible at upper center edge, upper right corner and extreme left edge. The picture surface is in generally very good condition. Under UV light, there are dashes of inpaint throughout the composition. There may be two generations of inpaint; there is one area of darkly fluorescing repaint to the left of the central boats sails.
