Condition

Oil on canvas mounted on board. The varnish is unevenly matte and shiny. There is an area of drippy varnish down the center of the work, to the right of the standing figure, as well as along the right edge. There are also areas of misty white varnish along the right edge. A few scattered areas of abrasion across the upper third of the canvas as well as an area of abrasion and loss in the lower legs of the standing figure. Stable scattered losses throughout. Surface dirt. Under UV light, there is a thick green fluorescing varnish that obscures the picture. A few spots of older generation inpainting visible through this varnish and a few small spots of newer inpaint in the upper right corner.
