Condition
Oil on canvas, lined. The original canvas is separating from the newer canvas along the upper edge. The picture surface is flattened but in generally good condition with a clean varnish. Under UV light, the thick varnish fluoresces green and the picture surface cannot be read. Selective areas - the three main figure's faces, the legs of the man at right and the barrel, and parts of the architecture int he upper third of the work - have been cleaned of this green varnish.
