Oil on canvas, lined. Picture surface is in generally good condition aside from an old varnish that is slightly cloudy in areas, especially the upper left corner, and a stable web of craquelure. Under UV, there are dots and dashes of inpaint throughout the background and scattered in the figure's costume and horse.
