Condition

Oil on canvas, lined. The edge of the original canvas is visible along the extreme upper edge. There is flattened and stable craquelure throughout the picture surface. The surface is clean with a fresh varnish. Under UV light: inpaints are visible throughout the sky, mainly to address craquelure. There are also areas of inpaint in the road in the foreground and scattered through the horse and rider.
