Catalogue Note

Donated by Jasper Morrison Ltd.

When the Finnish company Nikari initiated a monthly series of wood products called "Design for Nature" - introducing one piece a month during 2012 - they selected leading contemporary designers Jasper Morrison and Wataru Kumano to create one of the monthly pieces. Their simple and elegant "December" chair, made of ash and linen canvas by five master craftsmen, has been released as a small, crafted production run. This prototype is only available through the (RED) Auction.
