Catalogue Note

Donated by Officina Stellare.

With the high-tech RiLA telescope, Jony and Marc's fascination with space intersects beautifully with their appreciation for high-performance objects in which design disappears behind function. Created by Officina Stellare ("workshop of the stars"), an Italian company founded in 2009 to create high-end telescopes for astronomers and amateur stargazers alike, RiLA (Riccardi Large Astrograph) is a fast focal ratio astrograph telescope. It is cutting-edge both mechanically, with its use of carbon composite materials and special alloys, and optically, thanks to the innovative Riccardi design and the use of low-dispersion/low-expansion glasses.
