Condition

This work is in fair condition overall. There is a slight undulation to the sheet, and uneven edges and paper losses to the corners and edges of the sheet, which appear inherent to the artistÂ’s working method. There is a 7 inch long crease in the upper left corner, 4 inches from the top edge, which shows signs of paint loss and craquelure. There is a 15 inch long repaired tear extending from the top right corner, 5 inches from the right edge. There is a 3 inch long vertical tear extending from the bottom edge, 14 inches from the right edge. There is a horizontal crease with paint loss 4 inches long and 5 inches from the left edge and 18 inches from the top edge. There is tape residue in the upper left and bottom right corners. This work is hinged verso intermittently along the edges to the backing board. Framed under Plexiglas.
