Condition
This work is in good condition overall. There is evidence of wear and handling to the edges and corners. There are smudges of paint scattered across the composition which appear inherent to the artist's working method. There are several accumulations of varnish along the left edge, including: a vertical drip 6 inches long, 9 inches from the left edge and beginning 26 inches from the top edge; a single 1/2 inch accretion 21 inches from the left edge and 32 inches from the top edge; and two 3 inch long vertical drips about 5 inches from the left edge and 16 inches from the bottom edge. There is another accretion of varnish 22 inches from the right edge and 26 inches from the bottom edge. Under ultraviolet light inspection all these areas and accretions fluoresce brightly. There is no other evidence of restoration under ultraviolet light inspection. Unframed.
