Condition

This work is in good condition overall. There is evidence of light wear and handling to the edges of the canvas. There is hairline craquelure in the green and brown thickly painted areas behind the figure, and some small areas of loss in the green area. At the base of the column on the right side the canvas is protruding outward slightly and fluoresces darkly under Ultraviolet light inspection, presumably the result of inpainting. There are a few other spots which appear to have been inpainted under Ultraviolet light, including a few areas in the green and a spot just below in the gray blue area. Framed. *Please note the auction begins at 9:30 am on November 14th.*
