Super-Chancery folio (313 x 210mm.), 260 leaves (first leaf blank), a12; b-q8 r-s6 A-N8 O-P6, double column, 60 lines plus headline, roman type, 6- and 8-line initials in blue with printed guides, 2- to 4-line initials in red and blue with printed guides, b1 with contemporary Florentine decoration comprising an initial E in gold inhabited by the portrait bust of a woman (somewhat rubbed) with floral marginal extensions with gold dots, coat-of-arms at foot within a laurel wreath (also rubbed) surrounded by similar decoration, eighteenth-century calf-backed marbled boards, flat spine gilt, a2, k4 and A8 repaired at foot (affecting a few letters), a few other small marginal repairs, occasional light staining or browning, G7 supplied from a shorter copy, binding slightly rubbed
