Catalogue Note
An uncommon edition of Brucioli's translation, recorded in just five copies in Italian libraries, and printed by Brucioli's brother; beneath the colophon is a warning to the reader that the 1530 (first) edition was poorly edited and that the present edition has a much more reliable text. The Brucioli printshop ceased production in 1548 on the arrest of Antonio for printing heretical works.
