Catalogue Note
This is one of the earliest books from the press of Johann Grüninger, who went on to become one of the most successful printers of his time; his career spanned nearly fifty years, from 1482 to 1532. This book is typical of the conservative production of his early years, when he produced books that had a ready and reliable market.
