Catalogue Note
The first Bible to be printed in Naples. Matthias Moravus from Olmutz was the most prolific printer in Naples in the fifteenth century, producing numerous books of hours and other liturgical and devotional texts. Fava and Bresciano compare his quality of production to that of Nicolas Jenson (p. 60).
