folio (315 x 215mm.), 265 leaves, double column, 30 lines, written in black ink with headlines and initials in red, first page within coloured decorative strapwork border, decorative initials, head- and tailpieces, 4 full-page watercolour drawings of the Evangels, with a paschal calendar from 1808 to 2013, contemporary Greek silver covers chased and embossed over contemporary morocco binding, the upper cover with a central image of the Presentation of Jesus at the Temple surrounded by 12 roundels containing biblical figures in a foliate border, the lower cover with a central image of Christ teaching in the Temple with roundels of the twelve Apostles, manuscript slightly soiled at beginning, spine somewhat rubbed, lacking both straps
