Catalogue Note
A tall copy. The extract from a sale catalogue pasted to the inside of the cover states that this book was printed by Johann Mentelin in Strassburg; there was an edition produced in Strassburg in c. 1470, now attributed to The "R" Printer (Adolf Rusch). Schilling's press has recently been relocated from Cologne to Basel, and dates of rubrication in other copies give the terminus ante quem of 29 September 1473 for this edition.
