Chancery folio (300 x 210mm.), 219 leaves (of 220, without blank LL8), *6 A-Z AA-II6 KK-LL8 [1-4]6, 74 lines of commentary plus headline, roman type with headlines in gothic, woodcut illustrations throughout (some repeated), woodcut device above colophon, early nineteenth-century panelled calf gilt, a few edges uncut, with a sheet of manuscript notes from Bohn's 1850 catalogue of classics loosely inserted, title-page slightly soiled, first quire slightly damaged at head of gutter, some staining at head of leaves, last two leaves repaired in gutter, binding slightly rubbed
