Condition
There is a very slight warp to the panel, with two minor cracks visible at the back. These do not impact the front of the work. There is slight rounding to the top left and bottom right corners, not visible in the present mount.
There is a very minor surface scratch in the top left corner, which has been in-filled, and very minor surface dirt, but this excepting the work appears in good overall condition.
Please note that there is an unfinished portrait study to the reverse.
Ultraviolet light reveals area of flourescence which appear in keeping with the nature of the artist's techniques and materials, with a fine line or retouching to the aforementioned scratch in the upper left corner.
