Condition

The following condition report has been prepared with the kind assistance of Joan Hills and Sebastian Boyle, who inspected the work and state that, in their opinion, the piece is in excellent condition, and has undoubtedly benefitted from being well looked after whilst on loan to the McMaster University Art Gallery. Structurally sound, there appears to be two very minor scuffs running vertically in the lower right quadrant, visible upon close inspection, with very small further scuffing to the bottom left and top right corners, with one of two tiny extremely minor flecks of possible loss to the extreme edge. There is a further very minor fleck of surface matter to the extreme top edge. This excepting the work appears in very good overall condition. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
"In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above.
