Condition

Original canvas. There are isolated signs of craquelure in all four quadrants, but the work appears to be in a stable condition. Ultraviolet light reveals areas of fluorescence and retouching in the top left hand quadrant and down the extreme left hand edge; in areas along the extreme bottom edge; in two spots in the bottom right hand quadrant and in three further spots to the top right hand quadrant and in further isolated flecks elsewhere.
