Condition
This work is in very good condition. No traces of retouching appear to be visible under UV light. A few clearer scattered dots probably due to an old and superficial efflorescence are visible under UV light.The color illustration is fair to the original.
L'opera è in ottime condizioni. Non vi sono tracce di restauri visibili sotto la lampada a raggi UV. Vi sono alcune piccole riflettanze puntiformi sparse dovute probabilmente a vecchie e superficiali fioriture. Il colore dell'illustrazione è fedele all'originale.

"La monocromia è l'ultima chance della pittura per differenziarsi dalle altre arti; la superficie che ha di volta in volta descritto, alluso, suggerito, che è stata teatro di idilli e drammi e vaniloqui, ora è muta.
