Condition

The illustration of the catalogue is accurate. Good overall condition despite the inevitable scratches and marks due to age and handling. Both constructions are firm and sound. A few minor old traces of woodworm. There are traces of old nails at the rear of each back because of previous lining. There are also traces of cream paint inside the rails: the bergères were originally painted. One of the back legs has been restored. The upholsetry is worn.
