Condition

The illustration of the catalogue is accurate. Good overall condition despite the inevitable scratches and marks throughout due to age and handling. As visible on the illustration there is a vertical shrinkage crack on each front door and there are some cracks on the upper part of the right hand lateral side. There is also a shrinkage crack on the top. The veneer is slightly flaking in some places. As stated in the catalogue description, the base is later. The painted decoration is slightly rubbed on the exposed areas of this base.
