la ceinture ornée d'une frise de palmettes reposant sur trois montants en arc réunis par une corbeille soutenue par trois flèches et terminés par une base triangulaire évidée munie de roulettes en métal ; dessus de placage d'ébène probablement d'époque postérieure

Condition
The illustration of the catalogue is accurate. Good overall condition despite the inevitable scratches and marks throughout due to age and handling.
The top was probably originally fitted with an eglomise glass panel which is now missing. The top is veneered of ebony which is probably period. A minute loss to the ebony veneer on a foot. Two legs have been restored on a ver small area at the base. The gilding of the bronze has been cleaned.
