Condition
The illustration is accurate .
Elegant object in fairly good condition. The mahogany has a good colour with very minor marks on the surface and traces of a varnish particularly to the frieze.
The veneer is fine with a very light lifting on the left side.
Giltbronze mounts are fine, the earthenware in good condition. No key.
The stamp is difficult to see but is original. Attractive and rare piece in overall good condition which will benefit a light cleaning.
To recommend.
