Condition

The illustration of the catalogue is accurate. Good overall condition despite the inevitable scratches and marks throughout due to age and handling. The gilding is very slightly tarnished as expected.

Un modèle identique fut vendu chez Parke-Bernet à New York, le 17 novembre 1961, lot 208. Un même modèle fut également vendu chez Christie's à New York, le 24 mai 2001, lot 51. Seuls les pieds diffèrent de notre paire de flambeaux.
