Catalogue Note

“Absence is a void to be filled with one’s own stories. I find silence is much more powerful because we’re always surrounded by sounds, and in silence we can think about sound. Silence is the negative space that defines sound.” Christian Marclay (Artist’s Writings Christian Marclay, New York, 2005, p. 128)
