Condition

This work is in fair condition overall. All four edges are deckled and there is a slight undulation to the sheet, inherent to the artist's working method. The sheet is irregularly torn at the corners, and there are numerous tears and creases throughout, most notably a 4 inch vertical tear along the bottom edge to the left. There are spots of paint loss throughout, particularly at the upper left corner, which is visible in the catalogue illustration. The sheet is hinged verso to the matte, intermittently along the edges. Framed under Plexiglas.
