Condition
This work is in good condition overall. There is evidence of light wear and handling at the edges, and the sides are taped. Close inspection reveals some unobtrusive hairline craquelure in some of the areas of heavy impasto. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there are a few spots that fluoresce darkly and appear to be the result of restoration, they are: one pinpoint spot and one inch long vertical line at the top right corner and two spots, one ½ inch and the other 1 ½ inches along the top edge, just left of center. Some of the thickly painted white paint along the edges fluoresces brightly under Ultraviolet light inspection, but do not appear to be the result of retouching. Framed.
