the moulded top above trestle ends with panels of rosewood united by a rectangular stretcher together with a smaller fruitwood tray top table with columnar supports united by an ovoid tray-form stretcher, Continental, 19th century (2)

Condition

The elm table is beautifully figured and has typical age cracks. There are old marks and scratches throughout. The trestle ends are warped and some mouldings are lifting and have wear. There are typical chips and some fading from exposure to sun. An unusual and attractive table. The smaller fruitwood table generally good although with some wear and typical marks as well as some pet damage to the feet.
