Condition

The sheet has discoloured and there are a few minor isolated spots of foxing. Some scratches including to the lady's face, the sailor's elbow and by upper right edge. Held under glass in a composite fame with a cream mount (stained); unexamined out of frame. HALF-VOLLEY, measures 9.5 by 7cm., 3¾ by 2¾in. The sheet does not appear to be laid down and cockles slightly; generally sound overall condition. Held under glasss in a wood frame with a dark mount; unexamined out of frame. HERCULES measures 76 by 33cm., 30 by 13in. The sheet cockles and has creases across the surface, particularly in the sky. Also a few small losses to the right edge. A calendar inscribed 'Best Wishes For/ 1936' has been attached to the bottom half of the lithograph, bearing some stains. Held under glass in a dark stained wood frame; unexamined out of frame.
