Condition
Colours of the catalogue image in situ - show the piece in the colour which is closer to the carpet in reality. The ground is a warm cream/beige colour and the pinks of roses are not as dark or blue in hue but more red and pink in tone. The image of the whole carpet on-line is too light overall and the roses and design too stark. It is warmer colouration in reality. The outer edge is musk pink.
Pile is approx. 1cm. overall. Irregular ends, turned under and overlocked. Overcast sides. There are darkish track lines across the length of the carpet up one side. Carpet would benefit from a clean.
