Condition

The panel bows but is sound. Some vertical cracks in the panel inherent to the medium. An uneven and discoloured varnish, the work should benefit from cleaning. Under UV light there appear to be some retouchings in the lower left corner and near the centre of the upper edge, including a vertical line extending to the hound's head. Held in gilt plaster frame.
