Condition
An impressive model. The lifeboats are loose and some are detached as their suspension or davits are damaged. Some of the davits are detached from the hull. Both masts appear severed, this possibly may well be a detail of the maker. The front mast is detached. The bow sprit of the boat is damaged and has been repaired, and there some losses to this site and traces of old glue from an old repair. The model stairs on starboard after a badly bent and twisted. There is a notable fracture to the starboard aft deck of the model and there is lifting to the decking at this sight. The wooden hand rail at the stern is broken and the section is lost. The starboard ladder is now detached and there is a fragment remaining. There is a serious fracture just below the starboard aft deck. The boat has been later wired for electricity.
