Centered by a modified oval-shaped yellow sapphire weighing approximately 25.00 carats, the mounting decorated with 8 rectangular-cut sapphires, size 6ΒΌ, with French workshop and assay marks; circa 1935.

Condition

In good condition. The yellow sapphire is a lightly saturated yellow, slightly included with some minor abrading to the facet junctions, visible only under magnification. The blue sapphires are decorative in quality. Workshop mark is two "M's" bisected by a telegraph pole, possibly for Momege of Monte-Carlo. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 56439 stating that the sapphire is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating.
