In good condition, with some visible discoloration to the gold. The round to near-round cultured pearls have a creamy white to white body color, fair luster, with several showing wrinkled skins, pitting. The diamonds are approximately G-I color, VS-SI clarity. The sapphires are well-matched for color, a medium dark vividly saturated slightly violetish blue, eye-clean to lightly included, with several showing abrading to the facet junctions or small chips to the girdle, visible only under magnification. Maker's mark for Davière. Please note that the pearls have not been tested for natural origin.
In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above. Since we are not professional conservators or restorers, we urge you to consult with a restorer or conservator of your choice who will be better able to provide a detailed, professional report. Prospective buyers should inspect each lot to satisfy themselves as to condition and must understand that any statement made by Sotheby's is merely a subjective qualified opinion.
