The stylized bow suspending an articulated pendant, centered by an emerald-cut emerald weighing approximately 5.25 carats, accented by pear-shaped, fancy and square-cut emeralds weighing approximately 4.25 carats, the pendant set with one old mine-cut diamond weighing approximately 2.00 carats and one old European-cut diamond weighing approximately 1.20 carats, further set with round, baguette and square-cut diamonds weighing approximately 8.00 carats and calibré-cut emeralds, signed Mauboussin, Paris, with French assay and workshop marks; circa 1935.

Condition

In good condition. The old-mine diamond is approximately I-J color, I clarity. The old European-cut diamond is approximately L-M color, SI clarity. The approximately 173 round diamonds are approximately H-J color, predominantly VS clarity with a few SI examples. The large emerald-cut emerald is moderately included and transparent, displaying a bright very slightly bluish green hue. The additional 40 calibré-cut emeralds are moderately included, with a few heavily included examples. They are transparent and range from slightly bluish green to green in hue. Fitted with a sefety clasp at the back. Although signed Mauboussin, please note that this brooch was not manufactured by Mauboussin.
