Comprising: a necklace designed as a band set with oval and circular-cut rubies, marquise-shaped and brilliant-cut diamonds, to a double herringbone chain, length approximately 360mm, signed Chantecler, chains later added; and a pair of ear clips en suite, signed Chantecler.

Condition

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece may contain rubies of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin will be required before import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information. Necklace and one ear clip signed Chantecler. Each stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Rubies well matched in colour, medium strong to strong red saturation, with typical crystal inclusions, some surface reaching, with nicks, chips, and abrasion visible under 10x magnification. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 12.50 - 14.00 carats for the necklace and 6.00 - 6.50 carats for the ear clips, on average G-H colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting. Chains later added to the necklace, originally a bracelet. Clasp secure. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use; some tarnish and discolouration to the gold on the reverse of the ear clips as well as few solder marks. In good condition. Total gross weight of all items approximately 94 grams.
