The cabochon ruby weighing 25.90 carats, set within a frame of marquise- and pear-shaped diamonds, size 61, signed Bulgari.
Condition

Signed BVLGARI and stamped Cm. 25.90 indicating the stated weight of the ruby. Stamped Pt 950 for platinum and 750 for 18 carat gold. According to the SSEF report the ruby, measuring 17.45 x 15.43 x 10.02 mm, is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating, it is of medium strong red saturation; stone with typical crystal inclusions, some surface reaching. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 6.00 - 7.00 carats, estimate G-I colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. The gross weight approximately 17 grams.
