Each set with a cushion- and a pear-shaped sapphire, framed and embellished with marquise-shaped and brilliant-cut diamonds, each with a mark for Jacques Timey.

Condition

Both with maker's marks. Clip fittings stamped OR for gold, ear clips stamped with PT 950 for platinum. Oval sapphire estimated to weigh approximately 3.30 and 3.40 carat respectively, the pear-shaped sapphires were estimated to measure in mounting 19.65 x 11.55 x 6.65 mm and 19.45 x 11.55 x 8.95 mm and estimated to weigh approximately 9.40 and 13.40 carat respectively, they are blue of moderate saturation, clean to the naked eye, only few crystal inclusions visible under close inspection, minor scratches and nicks. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 15.00 - 16.00 carats, on average of G-H colour and VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 34 grams.
