Impressive sapphire and diamond ring, Graff

The oval sapphire weighing 28.21 carats, double claw-set between triangular diamond shoulders, size 48, sizing beads, signed Graff.

Stamped Pt 950 for platinum and signed GRAFF. According to the SSEF report, dated 18th October 2010, that sapphire measures 22.60 x 15.46 x 9.41 mm, and is blue of medium strong saturation. The sapphire with good transparency, typical crystal inclusions, a few minor surface reaching, few small chips and abrasions to the girdle. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 2.50 - 3.25 carats, in our experts' opinions of I colour, SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Signs of little wear to the metal, consistent with light use. In good condition.
