Designed as graduated foliate sprays suspending diamond and natural pearl drops, set with cushion-shaped, circular-, single- and rose diamonds and natural pearls, inner circumference approximately 278mm, five flower head detachable, accompanied by a fitted case.

Condition

This tiara is being sold as composed of natural pearls; it will be submitted for testing at the SSEF laboratory at Sotheby's expense after the auction and before delivery to the buyer. Mounted in silver and gold. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 19.00-20.00 carats, of mixed colours and clarities, ranging from G-K colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Accompained by CISGEM report no. 80592, stating that the pearls were found to be natural, saltwater, and that some pearls were not tested due to the mounting. SSEF report to come. Attachment loop at either end of tiara frame. Signs of wear to the metal, scratches and tarnish consistent with use and age. Five flower heads detachable, no additional fittings. In good condition.
