Sapphire and diamond brooch, Harry Winston

Of ribbon design set with baguette diamonds, the centre accented with a step-cut sapphire weighing 9.86 carats, surmounted with a semi-circle of pear-shaped diamonds, signed Winston.

Stamped Pt 900 for platinum. Signed Winston. According to the SSEF report, the sapphire measures 11.20 x 10.61 x 7.98 mm and is blue of medium strong colour saturation; clean to the naked eye, few crystal inclusions visible under close inspection. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 8.00 - 8.50 carats, on average of G-H colour and VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Signs of little wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition.
