The circular-cut ruby weighing 6.19 carats, set between pear-shaped diamond shoulders, size 57, signed FS, maker's marks, case stamped Fabio Salini.
Condition
Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece may contain rubies of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin will be required before import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information.
Accompanied by GRS report no. GRS2005-070547, dated 8th July 2005, stating that the ruby is of Burmese origin, with indications of heating.
Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Signed FS with Roman maker's marks. According to the GRS report, the ruby measures 12.00 x 11.98 x 5.03 mm and weighs 6.19 carats, with typical crystal inclusions, few surface reaching, few scratches and nicks, one chip to the girdle; for further information please refer to the report. Diamonds bright and lively. Signs of little wear to the metal. In good condition.
