Ruby and diamond ring, Fabio Salini

The circular-cut ruby weighing 6.19 carats, set between pear-shaped diamond shoulders, size 57, signed FS, maker's marks, case stamped Fabio Salini.

Accompanied by GRS report no. GRS2005-070547, dated 8th July 2005, stating that the ruby is of Burmese origin, with indications of heating. Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Signed FS with Roman maker's marks. According to the GRS report, the ruby measures 12.00 x 11.98 x 5.03 mm and weighs 6.19 carats, with typical crystal inclusions, few surface reaching, few scratches and nicks, one chip to the girdle; for further information please refer to the report. Diamonds bright and lively. Signs of little wear to the metal. In good condition.
